It has been a while, hasn't it? I haven't penned anything for a long while on my ministry site; I have missed you.
So many things to catch-up on, but today, I want to share with you just a few events that I hold so close to my heart.
God is asking me to unwrap a small corner of a gift he is pursuing in my soul for you; for me.
A different kinda something that gets me so stinkin happy, you have no idea.
Today, you will get a small, yummy taste of the newness of His goodness. I hope it grows an appetite in you to want more of the what's next; more of our Jesus.
Our Father wants you to crave him so he can show you how much you delight him. How much he searches for you for a deeper connection; a freedom-relationship that only he can give you.
Are you ready? Let's take a stroll together.
During the quite moments on my ministry site, I started writing for a leadership planning retreat team in June; sharing weekly devotionals of encouragement.
The 14-week series was called, "Fasting and Encouragement" that ran each Friday. God moved in and took over each week...Wonder arrived, and I was in awe. Thank you, Jesus.
Below is a sample of “Fasting and Encouragement.”
"You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you." Song of Songs 4:7
Why is Song of Songs 4:7 hard to grasp at times? What stops us from allowing the words from our Father soak in as a balm of Holy Healing?
You, my sweet friend, have a name and Jesus whispers it every day.

When Jesus whispers your name, he cast out the criticism that tries to swirl in your soul.
I am not sure if you are dealing with a situation that is discouraging you or trying to discount the purpose that is assigned to you by Jesus. Remember, you have a name given to you by our Savior, and there is no flaw in it. He whispers it every day and rejoices.
Worship: "Holy Ground" by Passion
Fasting and Encouragement: Choose At Least One
Food Fasting: fast from part of your lunch or your entire meal.
Action One: pray and write in your journal the names that flow out from the Holy Spirit about who you are and Whose you are. (If you want a friend to pray with you, email me, I will sit with you and hold your hand, and we will pray together.)
Action Two: do you still believe in "snail mail?" I sure do. I love getting notes the old fashion way. Send a card to a friend who may need a reminder that they are altogether beautiful and there is no flaw in them.
Father, we are grateful you see us the way you created us: flawless. We pray whispers of love and encouragement to help shift our hearts by calling out our name. Help us release the names that stray us away from you and your purpose at the foot of the cross. Eject the rejections from our soul by your cleansing blood. As we lean into you, lighten up our load, and give us the courage to fly the Banner of Holy Spirit Freedom in all our steps. Remind us you delight in us: your Beloved.
Jesus, thank you for your selfless sacrifice of fantastic love. You are our redeemer and may we sit still daily to hear you whisper our name. We love you. Amen.
