Casual Conversations is for God to use my writings as His vessel to deepen women's faith in Him. Women will receive and grow in His Love and His Faithfulness.

March Into Purpose: Prepare

Michele Oleary

"My son, pay attention to my words; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them depart from your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one's whole body." Proverbs 4:20-22 (NIV)

How do you prepare for Heaven's purpose? The Love-Purpose from the Above-Love?

Crack open, dig in deep and glean from His Word. The Book from the Truth-Maker.

The Holy Bible.

***

At times the Bible would frustrate me. My black-pitted emotions of worthlessness would start bubbling up once again.

Japs and pokes and whispers from the "deceiver" poured over me:
"Michele, the Failure."
"Michele, the Dummy."
"Michele, the Unwanted and Unseen."
"Michele, the one so inadequate how can she be used? She can not even understand her Father's Words."

The "darkness" would rewind damaging movie films of younger years. A non-fiction heart-fracturing flick from the "the sick one." Kids lined up against a fence in the schoolyard, anticipating to get picked. To get selected and wanted. There stood a woeful-filled, shaking heart, invisible girl who was always the last to be picked.

Shredded pieces of her heart left behind and trampled on each time she walked away from the field of reject, time after time.

Just another ripping off of another piece of preciousness of a little girl's soul.

Satan knows the horror films to replay in our sick soul. To keep us stuck and useless in the Father's Kingdom.

I knew to start the journey of freedom and purpose with my Lord, our relationship needed to spark and start through His Word.

I tried and tried harder to "truly" dive into His Word and become a better, "perfect" daughter of God.

I didn't understand, and I didn't know how to learn to love His word. To love my Love better.

Deeper.

How do you walk out blindfolded into something so scary or uncertain when that "something" produces and pours out shame and embarrassing emotions?

When you are afraid to make the next move due to stalled emotions freezing your best intentions to move closer to your Soul-Mate, there is only one thing to do.

Move.

Yes, take a step. One faithful, freeing step towards the Mover of our heart.

The One who purifies our thoughts and removes the frustrations caused by the dark-doubt of the deceiver.

Hand-and-hand with our Truth-Teacher, He applies a tool to pry open our hearts, our souls, and our minds to seek and see His truth in His Freedom-Word.

One step at a time. One day at a time. One priority at a time.

Our Love-Truth, Freedom-Maker frees us with His Words. We come alive in His Word. The Bible.

Our Truth-Teacher wrote His words just for us. It is how He moves us, uses us, and cuts the shackles of the strongholds holding dominion over us.

My Christ-Love asked me on a daily date. Just my Love and me.

To meet Him each morning so He could court me, pour His Love-Truth over me.

The Cross-Freedom would touch me early, in the wee hours before the day breaks.

We started to meet each morning. Just my Above-Love and me.

Talking, looking, searching and growing, Heart-to-heart we grew.

A blossom of Christ-life started to spring up in my soul.

I started to wake up each morning excited to meet my Date. My Love.

I anticipated what we would talk about. What would the Cross-Love show the one He calls His own?

His healing Love-Words started to slowly slip safety over my shame and pain.

Blossom-Love of:

Truth.

Christ-Truth.

His Love-Balm.

His tender touch, hand-and-hand, my Above-Love tenderly lead me to connect with the Proverbs 31 "First 5" app. This devotional app was the perfect tool for this searching God's girl heart.

In time, the flood gates opened up, and my Carpenter started pulling more tools from His Heavenly tool box to grow this girl's soul.

A desire for more.

Needing more.

Wanting more.

More of Him. More of His love. More of His purpose.

Cross-Tools I so desired.

Jesus placed tools of beautifully written, heart-growing Bible Studies and devotions, books written by brave God's girls, making more connection with other women who love and search His truth.

Connection-tools with my Love started to prepare me for His Cross-Purpose, you see.

The biggest tool of all is when my heart opened wide to Him, and confidence in Christ grew knowledge and understanding of Him in me.

Christ-Confidence grew like a wildfire, fueled by His word.

With His purpose and freedom and love, it broke me free.

Cross-Purpose from the Love.

I am not suggesting the First 5 app is your answer, your tool from the Carpenter of Love. What I am saying is in order to know our Lord, you have to dig into the Above-Love's Word. Allow Him to show you His tools unique to you.

God's Truth.

Freeing and needed to prepare you for His unique purpose just for you, my friend.

Prayer and preparing are the first steps for Holy-Purpose. Searching for the Love of loves. There is nothing better or more freeing than the Love above.

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 (ESV)

Christ-Freeing purpose.

Where are you searching? What is holding you back? Do you feel uncomfortable cracking open the Bible? I understand. Me too. I get it. I do.

One faithful, love step towards Jesus. That is all He is asking. He is holding out His hand to you, sweet sister. He wants to set a date with you.

To meet with you.

To love you.

To free you.

Just you and Him.

Dear Father of Truth, we love you for meeting us here. Right here in this spot. I pray for my sisters who might be uncertain to say yes to your invitation, your tools of Truth, the Bible. You understand their hesitation. You love them for their rawness and realness. Pour your safety over them. Let them know you love them unconditionally. You want them to know you better, your love, your freedom, your purpose. I lift this all in your Precious Name, Jesus. We sure do love you so much. Amen.
