"... always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20 (NIV)
Voices of angels cried out praise to the Holy of Hosts, the Mighty Savior, the Lion and the Lamb. The angelic faces shone His pure love. The purity of God's little ones loving their Creator without shame and embarrassment. The world did not stop or hinder their praise: marvelous praise and thanksgiving to Him.
"That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works." Psalm 26:7 (NKJ)
A beautiful example of His wondrous works from my grandgirlies and all the other students singing on "Grandparents Day" last Friday: priceless and precious and perfect. Tears of hopefulness filled my eyes...it sat well in my soul seeing these children love the Love.
The little ones know how to love their Father, their Daddy. If we would only stop and learn from their example; we big people would shine His light better and more pleasing in His sight.
Reflecting on His love in songs, the light switch of His graciousness was turned on: His marvelous Son-shine absorbed my heart. God poured out from His Holy Pitcher and quenched my parched soul with His Holy Water: Holy Water overflowing with thankfulness.
November is the month of Thanksgiving. To pause and ponder and praise the Promise of His blessings He pours over us. To love, give thanks and praise Him without hindrance. To be grateful and thankful in all things. Let's infuse and magnify Thanksgiving in November.
Will you join me in the quest of daily Thanksgiving? This month I am going to share a scripture, a word, a sentence or a picture of Thanksgiving on my Casual Conversation Facebook page. Will you come with me and do the same?
"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." Psalm 28:7
